The Köprüçay River carves a 14 km canyon through pine-forested mountains with Class II-III rapids suitable for beginners through intermediate rafters. WeCare coordinates the full day: chauffeured drive to canyon operator, rafting experience, traditional lunch at riverside restaurant, and chauffeured return.
What the Day Looks Like
08:00-08:30 — Hotel pickup. WeCare chauffeur in your hotel lobby with name card. Mercedes V-Class with reclining seats for the 90-minute drive.
08:30-10:00 — Drive to Köprülü Canyon. 90 km east of Antalya via D400 east through Manavgat, then 25 km north into the Toros foothills via canyon access road. Final approach is scenic — pine forest, mountain views, narrow road into the canyon park.
10:00-10:30 — Operator briefing. Köprülü Canyon Rafting Center safety briefing, life-jacket fitting, helmet assignment, paddle technique demonstration, group splitting into rafts (8-12 paddlers per raft).
10:30-14:00 — Rafting the canyon. 14 km river run with Class II-III rapids. Photo stops, swimming opportunities, jumping rocks (optional 3-5m cliff jumps for the brave). Total in-water time 3-3.5 hours.
14:00-15:30 — Lunch at riverside restaurant. Traditional Turkish lunch — fresh grilled trout from local farms, mezze platter, salads, fresh bread, tea/coffee. Lunch included in operator package.
15:30-16:00 — Optional: Zipline or quad-bike add-ons. Köprülü Canyon operators often bundle rafting with zipline (350m over the canyon) or quad bike (forest trails) at small additional cost.
16:00-17:30 — Return drive to Antalya. Same 90 km return; arrive at hotel around 17:30.
